PROCHILL LC-5.000.170 process chiller: 5 kW at −80°C and 11 kW at −60°C, in stock
The featured PROCHILL unit. Both cooling-capacity ratings apply to this same model.

Real cooling capacity at ultra-low temperatures

When evaluating a cannabis extraction chiller, reaching a low setpoint is only part of the job. The unit must remove heat at the process temperature while supporting the required fluid flow and production duty.

PROCHILL delivers 5 kW of cooling at −80°C and 11 kW at −60°C. These are two operating points for the LC-5.000.170—not separate models. The specified operating range extends from −80°C to +25°C.

Built for cannabis extraction and processing

Review PROCHILL for extraction, winterization and other low-temperature process-cooling duties. Match its operating envelope to the complete thermal circuit rather than selecting by minimum temperature alone.

Extraction

Support low-temperature process-cooling duties in a cannabis or hemp extraction installation. Confirm the thermal load, heat-transfer fluid and connection requirements for your system.

Winterization

Evaluate cooling capacity against your material volume and required pull-down time. Vessel heat load, fluid flow and simultaneous cooling demand affect the installation.

Post-processing integration

Review jacket-cooling requirements and the production schedule alongside your MPS or other downstream equipment. Cooling-side setpoints are not the same as product temperatures.

Match the chiller to your cooling load

Cooling performance depends on operating temperature and installation conditions. Review the process heat load, batch size, overlapping equipment demand, ambient conditions and utility supply before final selection.

Prodigy can discuss the PROCHILL unit alongside your ProX extraction system or MPS post-processing platform. If your project needs a different operating envelope, explore the broader inTEST thermal-management range.

What to include in your inquiry

  • Your equipment and intended extraction or processing duty
  • Required process temperature and estimated heat load
  • Batch size, pull-down time and simultaneous cooling demands
  • Available electrical service and installation environment
  • Heat-transfer fluid, flow and process connections
  • Required delivery timing and documentation

Confirm final electrical, fluid, connection and installation requirements in the quoted unit's technical documentation.

Product specifications, performance, throughput, purity, recovery rates, temperature ranges, pressure ratings, and final product characteristics are process-, configuration-, and application-dependent. References to FDA cGMP, EU GMP, ICH Q7, ASME BPE, C1D1, CRN, CE/PED, IQ/OQ/PQ, and other standards, certifications, or regulatory frameworks describe applicable design considerations, available configurations, or documentation support and do not constitute regulatory approval or certification unless expressly stated for a specific system or build. Equipment and documentation are designed to support customer qualification, validation, and GMP compliance activities; final regulatory compliance, process validation, product purity, and API status depend on the customer's facility, process, operating procedures, quality systems, validation program, and applicable jurisdictional requirements. Certifications, ratings, specifications, and documentation packages are build-specific and should be confirmed in the final quotation and engineering documentation.
