Commercial cannabis & hemp extraction
ProX
Commercial Hydrocarbon Extraction System
Closed-loop extraction. Purpose-built recovery. A stronger foundation for your downstream process.
ProX is Prodigy's flagship hydrocarbon extraction platform for commercial cannabis and hemp operations. Its pharmaceutical-grade stainless-steel construction, solvent-recovery configuration and integration with MPS let you plan the extraction line around the product you intend to make—not just the vessel you intend to buy.

Define the extraction job
Commercial butane and propane extraction—configured around your operation.
For buyers evaluating butane extraction equipment, propane extraction systems or a closed-loop extractor, the important question is how the complete installation will perform. Review the intended solvent or blend, feedstock, target extract and downstream workflow with the Prodigy team before specifying the system.
Extraction, not a finished-product shortcut
ProX extracts cannabinoid oil from biomass. Distillate refining and THCa isolation are separate downstream jobs; the MPS platform addresses those post-processing requirements.
Recovery built into the production plan
Evaluate the extraction and solvent-recovery cycle together. Prodigy's GC Series compressors provide active-recovery options for qualifying hydrocarbon configurations.
Engineered equipment, defined support
Manufacturing, materials, applicable fabrication standards and documentation are defined for the build. Installation and final validation remain application- and site-specific.
Materials, manufacturing & records
System details that support a serious procurement review.
ProX uses 316L stainless-steel product-contact surfaces and pharmaceutical-oriented fabrication. The quotation and final engineering package establish the applicable pressure ratings, electrical configuration, certifications and documentation for your system.

ProX Configuration Overview
Plan the complete line
Connect extraction, recovery, cooling and refining.
A commercial extraction system is a coordinated installation. Pair the ProX with the right ancillary equipment and downstream process so a faster extraction stage does not simply move the bottleneck somewhere else.
GC active solvent recovery
Explore GC LUX, GC PRO and GC MAX compressor configurations for butane/propane solvent-recovery duties.
Compare GC ModelsPROCHILL process cooling
Review the LC-5.000.170 chiller's 5 kW at −80°C and 11 kW at −60°C cooling capacities against your actual thermal load.
Explore PROCHILLMPS post-processing
Plan THCa isolation, High Terpene Extract separation and concentrated cannabinoid distillate refining as downstream applications.
Explore the MPS PlatformHow to compare commercial hydrocarbon extraction equipment.
Compare the installed line, not just a quoted vessel capacity. These four questions help define whether a system fits your business and facility.
Production capacity
Start with the biomass you need to process per shift, its condition and your operating schedule. Compare the complete cycle—including loading, recovery and changeover—not an isolated extraction step.
Solvent recovery
Recovery can become the constraint in a commercial hydrocarbon line. Review active recovery, compressor sizing, solvent inventory and thermal support together rather than adding a compressor after the system is specified.
Thermal management
Choose temperature control by the process heat load and cooling capacity at the required operating point. The chiller's minimum setpoint alone does not establish extraction capacity.
Facility and documentation
Review electrical classification, ventilation, utilities, service access, pressure-vessel documentation and jurisdictional requirements. Qualification support should match your facility and quality program.
What to bring to your ProX application review
Share your biomass type and condition, target volume per shift, intended extract, existing equipment, solvent/recovery requirements, available utilities, site location and required delivery schedule. The team can then define the configuration and quotation around a real production plan.
